First Forum:
Brainstorming Description
If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would still like to provide input, your three options are. 1) Call the hotline that the city has set up to receive your opinion at 1-800-386-7734 or 2) Tear off the page distributed by the newspaper, write your response to the focus statement and mail the form to Concept Systems Inc. 118 Prospect St. Suite 309 Ithaca, NY 14850 or 3) Tear off the page distributed by the newspaper, write your response to the focus statement and submit the form to a drop box at one of the following locations: The Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC), Titus Towers, Northside Community Center, Southside Community Center or City Hall. Note - hotline, mail-in and drop box submissions must be made by Wednesday November 20th in order to be considered in the selection process.
At the first community forum, citizens will be asked to consider the following question:
Taking into account your own personal needs as a citizen, and the needs of the community as a whole, what are the specific characteristics that you’d like to see in the next chief of police?And then respond to the following question:
One specific characteristic that I’d like to see in the next chief of police is.......
